Youth Half Zip Sweater
The Half Zip Sweater is Lowland’s first pattern available in all 3 size ranges! This pattern comes in sizes 7-18 and is intended for those in between kids and adult sizes! The mock turtleneck collar and front kangaroo pocket give it an elevated twist while being ever so comfortable. The separate pieces on the top and bottom make this pattern perfect for color blocking and scrap busting! The zipper instructions are very clear and easy to follow, so if you’ve never sewn a zipper before, this is an awesome pattern to start with! Options for hood or collar are included.

If you want to use rib for cuffs/waistband/collar, we’ve separated the requirements.
If you plan on using only one fabric, be sure to add these two together
when calculating how much fabric you need. Usage requirements based off of a
50” wide bolt.

7-10 : 1 1/2 yards
11-14 : 1 3/4 yards
15-18 : 2 yards
- Collar Version
7-10 : 1 1/4 yards
11-14 : 1 1/2 yards

Materials:
- Knit – We recommend using a thicker knit such as large loop french terry, fleece, or other sweater knits.
- Interfacing/Hem Tape (optional but highly recommended)
- 1/2” (1.3cm) Double folded Bias tape (optional but recommended)
- Zipper (size required in instructions)
