Introducing the Basic Lined Shorts. As a mom of boys, I’ve found myself constantly reaching for this specific style over the last few years. So, I decided it was time to turn them into an official pattern. Perfect for everyday wear and play, these shorts offer both comfort and practicality.

Fabric amount requirements:
1/2 Yard / .5 Meters each of lining and main fabric
Materials:
- Fabric type – You can use just about any fabric for the shorts. I love to use french terry or waffle for casual knit shorts, woven such as linen for nicer shorts, or board short fabric for swim shorts. For the liner, I suggest a lightweight cotton jersey fabric for every day shorts or swim lining or sport mesh for swim shorts.
