Kids Wide Leg Pants
These pants are oversized and flowy with raw-edge detailing that give the pants a fun and trendy feel. They are super comfy, and if you prefer a more finished look you can always hem the traditional way!
This pattern was made with a heavier weight fabric in mind (think French Terry or Fleece). But it can work with any stretchy fabric. Options include corded waistband or paper sack band. You can’t go wrong either way!

Materials:
* French terry – this pattern is designed with FT in mind. Fleece or Jersey would also be great. We didn’t sew it with woven but that would look super cute as well!
* Elastic for Waistband: 1″ (3cm) for NB-12/18M; 1.5″ (3.8cm) for 18M – 9/10
* 6mm braided cotton cord (optional for waistband)
Machines:
* Sewing Machine
* Serger (small zig zag in place of serged seams if you don’t have one)
* Coverstitch Machine (optional)
